HDR Photo Camera App Reviews

Worked once, now crashes

This app worked beautifully ONE time. Now it always crashes during processing. Too bad because the photo looked great. UI is very non-intuitive also. Could be a great app.

Needs..

Faster accurate bracket and higher res (equal or less than 8 MP). The app has pleasing animation though ;)

Okay...

Not a horrible app, but I wish it didnt save all 3 photos plus the final result in your camera roll, it should do all the processing in-app. Also, sometimes one of the first 3 photos looks better than the final one. Needs some work.

Fantastic app!

Ive been looking for an app that both takes, and saves, three HDR shots. This is it! I turn on Low Light Bracketing and put the camera in Bracketing Only mode. This takes three pictures the second you hit the button, one normally exposed, one over exposed and one under exposed. You can then process the photos later (a lengthy process in any app), and move on with taking pictures. This is especially useful when taking photos with people, or in a public setting where its not practical to use other apps, as time is a big factor. Ive been using another app to get around this issue, but it only takes two HDR shots, omitting the properly exposed one. This created a problem, when the two exposures were too far apart for normal processing to give a pleasing result. If I had this app, it wouldnt have been an issue, as I wouldve had the properly exposed picture as well. This app changes everything!

HELP!!!

This app needs a lot of work!! Whenever I go onto this app it crashes so I cant do anything. The screen goes black and I cant do anything! I know its not my device because everything else works fine but this app.

Awesome.

Fast with quite a few options; unique as well--this is the only app that will allow you to take 3 exposures (other than top camera, which doesnt allow the individual exposures to be saved)

4 photos of the same picture

Why to I have to have 3 pictures and then the final picture saved in my photo album? I use the app to get a HDR picture, not to get different exposers of the same picture. It is annoying and confusing as of which picture is the final result. They all look so different. If I want multiple pictures of the same thing I can use a different app. I want just a HDR photo from this one. What gives??

SLOWEST PROCESSING TIME EVER

After the recent update, the Slow process time is STILL Slow. God forbid that you mess up, and have to wait for 1-2 mins for it to finish processing. Also theres no Cancel button when it starts the processing. This isnt ideal even for the 4S, and I cant imagine how it would be for anything lower than 4S. But if you can look past the slow speed, sometimes the pics turn out great. But like I said above, if you mess up, youll have to wait a long time for the app to process the pic before you can try again.

True HDR 3 picture capture - can process-enhance later!

I love this app. Again - this is the only app I have found that lets me EASILY WITH ONE BUTTON take the underexposed, normal, and over exposed shots to process later on my computer. Many of the other apps only take 2 shots and only process inside the app.

Aon

Slow process but worth it!!!!

Slow and I hate ads

This app was very good idea, smile enough for all my family to capture a top quality image but I hate the ads and it takes far to long to process the images before you can take another shot.

Nice results but I paid for ads UNCOOL TRICKERY

I will give only 1 star because I feel like Ive been had !! Nothing like looking at an ad while youre trying to take a beautiful picture ! Let me know when you fix it and remove the ad then Ill start using it again ! Would have much rather given my $3 to someone who could really use it ! change my mind please I will be more than happy to come back and give it five stars

User

Wont work dont buy.

Poor HDR results

Ive had this app for a LONG time, and I keep switching over to it now and then to give it another chance... I really like the idea of it, but the final results are always less impressive than almost every other HDR app that I use regularly. Even if it has the potential to generate awesome images, it definitely has a much steeper learning curve than the rest of the apps out there. This app has manual mode, and several shooting modes... and some camera features the others dont have, but it doesnt really do me any good if the final output (in both manual and auto) is sub-par? Maybe its poor alignment and the program expects me to use a tripod with my iPhone... I dont know. Either way, I think Ive kept this app around long enough... figured Id write up a review before finally removing it from my phone.

AWFUL & Free

This is the worst!! It wasnt even worth it for FREE!!! Dont be mislead!!

Garbage

Want to to take the worst photos possible? Have $3? Youre in luck! Never seen anything quite as horrible as the "photos" this app produces, which by the way takes 2-3 full minutes to do so. Save yourself a $1 and get Pro HDR... Its amazing and does in seconds what this app claims to do.

Its good

When the built in Apple Cameras HDR feature isnt giving the image enough compression, this app will come in handy; even though it takes a much steadier hand. A Glif and tripod helps. Did a great job aligning a hand-held sunset shot. I love that when flash is turned on, its only on for one (-EV) exposure. Clearly the author of this app put in some effort making it fairly easy to use; even if some of the controls (back button) are non-standard. If your planning on using this app for snapshots or family photos, you should put it on single-frame mode. HDR, even Apples, is not meant for moving subjects. Lost a star for being a paid app with ads.
